The serving dish goes with the cross divider of the Shokado bento (kaiseki dishes that originates from the Japanese tea ceremony). Combined with the Shokado bento, sashimi, grilled, boiled, and rice dishes look beautiful.

Please note that calabash-shaped dish doesn't fit in a normal-size bento box.
<In-glaze decoration: safe for use as table ware>
With in-glaze decorating, the color is fired at a temperature of about 1200, and the color seeps into the glassy layer. Because it is fired at a high temperature, the color is glassy coated, and never comes off even if it is washed in a dishwasher. Also, chemicals such as lead and cadmium contained in the paint is not a problem.
<reinforced porcelain: safe for use as table ware>
The reinforced porcelain is realized by using more developed soil to increase the strength, and fired at a higher temperature.
